The first call may be the fact that the laundry has become poorly washed. In addition, if washing machine does not heat the water, then after washing the clothes may have an unpleasant odor.
To understand if it's true washing machine does not heat water, it is enough to touch the hatch cover during the period when the main wash cycle is in progress. If within half an hour from the moment the washing machine is switched on in the washing mode, the manhole cover remains cold, then the washing machine does not heat the water.
Possible malfunctions in the absence of heating of the washing machine:
- A faulty water level sensor does not send a signal to the heating element.During operation, the sensor may become clogged, which leads to malfunctions. Solution: removing blockage or sensor replacement.
- Break in the wires of the heating element (heating element). A disruption in the power supply circuit of the heating element may well cause a problem when the washing machine does not heat the water. Most often, mechanical damage to the wires occurs during the operation of the washing machine (vibrations during washing and spinning), or the wires can simply burn out over time. Solution: replace the wires with new ones or solder the old ones.
- TEN is out of order. This breakdown is diagnosed by the master using a special tester. Solution: Replace the defective part.
- The washing machine does not heat the water due to scale formed on the heating element. Prevention: during washing, add special products that soften water, or install a filter with a water softening cartridge. Solution: replacement of the heating element.
- Faulty thermostat. Solution: replace the sensor.
- Faulty control module. Solution: module replacement.
