Why is the washing machine not working?

- The power button doesn't work.
The washing machine does not work if the power button is stuck. Set the multimeter to buzzer mode and ring the button when the washing machine is on and off. When the button is on, the multimeter should beep; when the device is turned off, it should be silent.
- Noise filter failure.

If the unit is working, and the filter of the thyristor unit is burned out, then you need to clean the cathode. The new filter is soldered through the positive terminal.
- Sometimes a trigger fails in a thyristor unit due to a capacitor failure. To find out if it is working or not, you need to test it on the output contacts. The voltage should not be more than 12V. If it fails, solder the output contacts and replace the trigger.
The power button lights up, but the program does not work. The reasons

There are 2 types of locks on UBL:
- thermal locks operating on bimetallic plates;
- electric locks on electromagnets.

In this case, the signal is transmitted to the control unit about the closing of the loading hatch, and the program starts to work.

Brush replacement
To replace the brush, follow these steps:
- Remove the back wall. To do this, unscrew the bolts, pull the belt off the pulley and the motor. On the engine, remove the fasteners and pull it towards you.
- Disconnect the wires.
- Remove the motor from the washing machine, inspect the brushes.
- If the brushes are worn out, replace them. To do this, unscrew the screws holding the brush and terminals with wires. Reassemble the washing machine in reverse order.
