Want to learn how to fix a clothes dryer at home? I will share with you how I did it at home in 10 minutes, perhaps if I didn’t have all the tools it would take more time, or I would even buy a new dryer, as they usually cost up to $ 10, for example I bought mine in Leroy-Merlin, but there are more expensive and better ones, but everything breaks down.

How to fix the strings on the floor dryer with your own hands?
Often housewives, not having calculated the strength of the dryer, hang a lot of laundry and they cannot withstand such an onslaught and the soldering bursts. Metal is now made cheap and it bursts easily, which is especially sad, because after washing you want to dry your clothes normally, and not do long repairs.
I believe that it is better to fix it once with high quality than to “glue it with tape” every time and get angry.
Step-by-step instructions for repairing a clothes dryer, doing it “like new”
To begin with, drill holes in the places where the strings are broken on your floor dryer, pick up a thin drill according to the diameter of your string!
Removing paint at the joints of the dryer
In order for our connection to be strong, we need to remove the adhesive tape on which you glued the torn strings before and sand them with sandpaper, a file, a file, or a washing machine to sand the surfaces.
We bend the strings of the dryer, on which we hang clothes after washing
We drilled holes in the tube, then we make hooks from knitting needles and insert them into the drilled holes!
It is also better to bend the tip of the knitting needle about half a centimeter down. The hole should be in the place where the rod is bent, insert the bent tip into the hole and wrap it with electrical tape, or make it better and solder and paint it so that it is like new!
Next, we sand and solder them, having previously treated everything with soldering acid for a better connection!
Sand well with a file
So that nothing superfluous sticks out and does not prick, we process our dryer well with a file, in places of soldering!
Everything is fine, now you can paint, use any waterproof paint, I used alkyd spray paint, but you can use any metal paint! Ready!

The legs of the dryer also often break, I used a hacksaw, sawed at the junction, straightened the tube to an even state, machined a tube from strong wood, inserted it into the broken leg of the dryer from both sides, sealed it with electrical tape. It held up well, you can also drill small holes and fix an additional wooden rod inside the leg! The method works! And which one did you use?

Hello. I just pulled on a linen cord for linen instead of torn and bent knitting needles. It took 5 minutes.
