In our progressive time, a huge number of washing machines are created with the expectation that even beginners will be able to freely cope with the controls. The system, understandable on an intuitive level, assumes that even every grandmother will be able to deal with the new acquisition.
Unfortunately, sometimes in reality it turns out that not every family can figure out the designation of symbols on a new assistant.
Deciphering the signs of the washing machine on the main types of displays
Often, signs from different manufacturers are somewhat similar, so let's look at a couple of basic examples.
Ardo ("Ardo"):
VEKO ("Beko"):
Eforesttrolux, AEG ("Electrolux", "A E G"):
Siemens,Vosch ("Siemens", "Bosch"):
BUTriston, Indesit ("Ariston", "Indesit"):
That is, you can attach the base to any suitable place, for example, on the typewriter or near it, so as not to be confused in the future.
Groups of symbols on the washing machine
All of the above images can be divided into 4 main groups.
Group number one includes icons that display washing progress:
- Ordinary laundry.

- Prewash.
- Washing mode.
- Add. rinsing.
- Spin.
- Drain.
- Drying.
- End of wash.
The 2nd group of signs shows those modes that are designed for certain types of fabric. The key difference is in the temperature and speed of the drum during washing and spinning.
The designations on the washer that are most often used:
- Jeans.
- Silk.
- Synthetics.
- Jeans.
- Wool.
The third group usually includes those modes you can use at your own discretion:
- Things with stains.
- Handwash.
- Economy laundry.
- Delicate fabrics.
- Night wash.
- Quick wash.
- Active wash.
- Children's toys and things.
- Personal hygiene items.
- Curtains.

Thus, the capabilities of washing machines are growing every day to improve the quality of washing and increase competitiveness.
In the fourth group each washing machine icon has its own button. It is in itself a group of additional features that can enable these programs in addition to laundry.
Very often it turns out that the icons from the third group are dragged to the 4th, and vice versa.
Suppose if in one washing machine from the first manufacturer the “things with stains” mode will be a separate mode, then in another model from another manufacturer it will be a mode under a separate button and this will be an additional function.
But, as a rule, the following list of symbols is placed on the panel:
- Wrinkle resistance.

- Reduced wash time.
- Reducing the number of revolutions.
- Education control foam.
- Using more water.
