Why do I put washing powder in the washing machine drum.
Each person at least once faced the process of washing. Nothing complicated: put the laundry in the drum, close it, pour the powder into the compartment at the top of the washing machine, close it and press the program button. Ready. So I did every wash.
But few people imagine what happens in the washing machine. And why this powder compartment?
Why do I need washing powder in the drum of a washing machine?
After I started to find a plaque on the walls of the tray, which then can not be wiped off with anything. A couple of times even the powder in the tray remained. Realizing that this could not continue, I began my experiment.
First, I studied the washing process. Everything is not as difficult as it seems. I have a washing machine. I'll tell you with my own example.
After the program starts, the laundry loading hatch is blocked. Water begins to flow into the drum. As soon as there is enough water, the sensor is activated and the water flow stops. Then the flow of water washes the powder from the tray, the soapy water enters the drum. Laundry "swirls" in soapy water. This is how the washing process works.
And if you put the powder directly into the drum? Essentially, the same thing happens.
Thinking about it, I remembered how in my student years I washed on a semi-automatic washing machine. There, the powder was poured directly into the washing drum. And well, after all, everything was washed off. There was no dullness on the linen, unless of course it was rinsed well.

Modern washing machines rinse very well. It's not manual 10 minutes. The rinse cycle is long enough. Moreover, in some washing machines (I have one) there is an additional rinse. Not sure, rinse again.
If you think about it, there are no laundry detergents in any form in stores. There are gels, there are capsules. They, just, the manufacturers recommend putting in the drum. It turns out everything is mixed at once: both the powder and the conditioner.
Details
I have tried both gels and capsules. Washing gel, that's nothing. If not for its price and nuclear smell. This is my personal opinion. The capsules are a total disappointment. The cost is high. After them, I had to wash it to reduce the smell of the air conditioner. It is also inconvenient that capsules need to wash a large amount of laundry at once. If you wash 1 kg of laundry, you can’t wash the smell of the air conditioner with anything. Yes, you need to rinse it 2 times.
I decided to try. She poured the powder into the drum, put the laundry in and chose the shortest wash. I was very worried that something was wrong. As a result, the washing machine successfully finished washing. Linen, do not believe it, washed perfectly.
Now I just wash it. Powder, quite a bit, I fall asleep in the drum. Then I put on the laundry. I pour some rinse aid into the tray and start the wash.
Of course, there are nuances that I understand.
- The powder needs to be sprinkled quite a bit. Much less than I poured into the compartment earlier. Approximately 1 tablespoon per 1 kg of laundry.
- It is best to use a powder without multi-colored granules. They dye the linen, there may be multi-colored dots
From all this, I drew several conclusions:
- The powder tray is now clean
- Saving washing powder at times. Now even a small pack of powder is enough for me for a long time
- Linen looks much better after washing
In any case, you decide how to wash. I found the perfect fit for me.
