As a rule, a washing machine that has served its time is simply thrown into the trash, replacing it with a new one. But what if something very beautiful and practical could be made from old parts. But what can be done from an old washing machine? You ask.
Well, for example, a table for the dacha from a drum from a washing machine. And for this, no special skills are needed at all, everything can be done under normal conditions and with your own hands. Moreover, there are quite a lot of design options, how to make such a table, for taste and color, we will consider some.
Option one. Small table with three legs
In the first example, the drum, as it were, "hangs" on three legs, covered with a table top.
So what do you need to get the job done.
Directly the drum from the washer, which you previously cleaned to a shine.
- A wooden tabletop or a board from which it can be made, then you will need a saw.
- Wooden bars for legs.
- Primer, paints, brushes, tape measure, pencil.
- Sandpaper or grinding washing machine, drill.
- Metal bolts.
So, step one:
Decide on the required height of the finished product and the dimensions of the countertop, measure all the necessary dimensions.
Step two:
We cut out a round table top, it can be cut both from large plywood, for example, and from several boards interconnected into a shield, but then it will be necessary to additionally fix the boards with self-tapping screws or scrap wood.
Step three:
We prepare the legs of the desired height from wooden bars.
Step four:
Now all the wooden parts must be well sanded and primed so as not to pick up a splinter, and also to make the table smooth and even.

We connect the whole structure. Holes are drilled in the bars, two on each, bolts are inserted into each of which and a drum is attached to them, in which holes were drilled at the same level. Nuts are screwed on the bolts. We fix the tabletop on the tops of the bars with self-tapping screws, you can even use wood glue.

Option two. Small coffee table with lamps inside
There is another design option, here it will turn out to be like a small coffee table, lamps are attached inside the drum, so that the cabinet simply glows from the inside.

– Two low-voltage spotlights and a junction box
- Three wheels for the table 50mm.
- Board or plywood for countertops.
- Jigsaw, pencil, tape measure, grinder washing machine.

Step four:
We add wheels to the bottom of the drums with the help of nuts.

Option three. Small stool
The next option can even be used, for example, as a chair for a child in some situations. In any case, it will definitely come in handy in the country.
You will need:
- Board or plywood for countertops.
– Wooden blocks for legs
- jigsaw, drill, glue, grinder washing machine and reversible screwdrivers.
- 14 screws.
Step one:
We prepare 4 legs for a small table. They need to be sanded so that there are no splinters.
Step two:
At the bottom of the drum, we drill holes for attaching the scabbard, you can attach the legs to the boards folded crosswise to the cross, which are then attached to the drum with self-tapping screws.
Step three:
Cut a round tabletop to match the diameter of the drum and drill it to the top. The top must be sanded and the sharp edges removed so that you can sit on it.
