Error code f16: Bosch washing machine. The reasons

If you have a washing machine with a screen: electronic (with LCD display) - and the error is on f16

If you have a mechanical washing machine (without a display) with a programmer, then the light for the number of revolutions is 800 (or a thousand)

What does this error code f16 mean?

The access door of the washing machine is not closed, or is locked in the closed position (a foreign object is obstructing)

Bosch error display signals

The washing machine does not respond to commands, and the hatch is not blocked.

We check with our own hands - we decide

• The washing machine is frozen and needs to be rebooted, just unplug it and let it rest for half an hour.
• Check the hatch latch groove, there should be nothing to prevent it from closing;
• Try to push the sunroof harder when closing, and start again.

We replace and repair

1. We replace the wires in the washing machine if they are damaged;
2. We replace the hatch blocking device;
3. We remove, diagnose and repair or replace with a new SM control board.
